Every Path Has Its Puddle
Good morning my friends! Well, Sept is here as I sit somewhere in MI. This is my favorite time of the year. The leaves are changing, and there is a cool sharpness in the air. The birds are busy at the bird feeder this morning. I suppose they know what's coming.
As I step outside, the crisp air greets me, carrying a hint of autumn that invigorates my senses. The colors around me are morphing - greens fading into vibrant hues of red, orange, and gold. Nature is unfolding a masterpiece, painting the world with its autumnal palette. The trees, once clad in emerald, now stand ablaze with the fervor of fall.
As I stroll through the woods near by, the sound of rustling leaves beneath my feet adding a comforting rhythm to my steps. The sunlight filters through the changing foliage, casting a soft, dappled glow around me. It's as if the world is adorned in a golden halo, embracing the seasonal shift with grace.
The birds above chirp and flutter, their melodious songs punctuating the tranquility of the morning. They seem to be preparing for their journey south, a reminder that change is an inevitable part of life. Yet in their flight, there is a beauty, a freedom that I find mesmerizing.
The gentle breeze carries with it the scents of autumn - earthy, musky, and rich. It's a sensory experience unlike any other, grounding me in the moment and connecting me to the earth beneath my feet.
As I pause to watch a squirrel scurry across the path, a sense of gratitude washes over me. September marks not just a transition in seasons but also a personal reckoning with change. It's a time for introspection, for assessing growth, and for getting things done before the snow comes in with a bang.
Just as the leaves let go of their branches, cascading to the ground in a symphony of colors, I too am reminded of the beauty in letting things evolve, transform, and renew. Change, though daunting, is a catalyst for growth, an opportunity for new beginnings.
As I conclude my morning walk, I find a bench bathed in sunlight, a spot of serenity amidst the bustling world. I sit, absorbing the beauty around me, feeling a sense of peace settle within my soul. In this moment of quiet reflection, I realize that September is not just a month; it's a state of mind, a reminder to embrace change with grace and acceptance. I just wish this moment wouldn't end.
So, my friends, as we embark on this journey through September, let's remember to find joy in the changing seasons, solace in nature's rhythms, and courage in the dance of transformation. Together, let's welcome the abundance of autumn and all the wonders it beholds.
In the quiet embrace of September, Embracing the beauty of change and nature.
This reminds me of a wonderful poem by John O'Donohue who is my favorite writer who left this world too soon.
What amazes me about landscape- landscape recalls you into a mindful mode of stillness, solitude and silence, where you can truly receive time.
